"Save"ty Yellow Products, which understands the value and necessity of mezzanine safety gates, developed its Mezzanine Pivot Gate to deliver the utmost in safety as well as the best possible productivity and efficiency. Our pivoting mezzanine safety gate’s all-welded tubular steel construction and strategic design allows the various sections to swing into the up or down position in order to accommodate one or two standard skids. Each Mezzanine Pivot Gate can be customized to meet the individual client’s requirements. Whether customers order the single (82" high X 63" wide X 66" deep) or the double skid unit (82" high X 120" wide X 66" deep), they also decide whether they want the unit to be shipped assembled or knocked down. Powder-coated in bright safety yellow, the Mezzanine Pivot Gate meets the OSHA’s 1910.23 specifications.
Other mezzanine safety gates slide horizontally or lift vertically. The horizontal gate can be ordered for installation on either side of the handrail and to open in either direction. Whether vertical or horizontal, manual operation is the standard with electrical opening/closing available at an additional cost.
Our PickerPal Pallet Safety Gate includes six self-closing arms to protect employees from falling while off-loading a pallet load on the mezzanine floor. The self-closing arms operate independently to provide constant protection. Models are available in 72" and 96" openings.
